Weird, you’d think that would have been the case when they did the same thing for windows 8, 7, vista, etc…

I never had stability issues in years of being on W11, Bazzite on the other hand, has locked up on me twice in the 2 weeks I’ve used it.
Because of layoffs, not despite them.
6 is becoming increasingly more common. Anecdotally, almost all of the gamers I know use consoles and have a phone for all of their “computer needs.” One of my friends probably wouldn’t even use his if it weren’t for VR Chat.
Doesn’t matter, less time on twitter is better, even if bluesky ends up the same way. Something else will be less shit and worth going to then.
You’re right, blocking doesn’t matter when there’s no one to block.
Ah, its very possible I was seeing some years old info then. Thanks!
This shit is what kept me from making the jump for a long time, the hardcores just don’t know how hardcore they are and think the average person can just pick something like that up in an afternoon.
Pipewire is miles better than anything Windows can conjure up in latency, quality, and customization
For my own curiousity, is this a recent thing? When I was researching before making the jump to linux, it was implied that audio on linux wasn’t in the best state comparative to windows.
Not trying to make you do something you don;t want to do, but my Nvidia machine is working seemingly perfectly with bazzite, I’d assume the other fedora immutables with different focuses might work as well.
As is tradition.
Because no one is on it. I don’t do twitter/facebook-like social media to interact exclusively with random people. I have no family or friends on Mastodon and couldn’t tell you if any “content creators,” for the lack of a better term, that I follow elsewhere are on it to follow.
You need to supply more lemon pledge.
Dinner AND a movie? Sign me up.
How long until someone murders a person with one of these as a cover up?
Basically nothing I follow is on anything else because they need the numbers. The few people that are just copy their twitter posts and never actually engage.
Noooo, this is Lemmy. If it isn’t free to use and 20% as good as the paid version, its evil.
Probably the more expensive one.
