i currently use mint and only want to switch because cinnamon has this weird thing when you have a game running, window resizing is laggy. i often have btd6 running when I’m working so it bugs me. kde doesn’t suffer from that.
i have tried fedora and nobara a few times but they randomly make my hdd unmountable and it’s difficult to get it back. even after installing a different distro.
never heard of this one. definitely going to try it!
way too difficult to set up, i don’t have a lot of free time so i need an “out of the box” distro
does kubuntu have the same issues? kinda want to go for a debian or ubuntu based kde distro and kubuntu is always highly recommended.
i would guess that it wouldn’t, as it seems that the motherboard is overusing the pci-e lanes
internet connection is not a thing a car should even have
at my last job during every break my fb-addict coworker would always get ads on facebook on her iphone that were exactly about what we were discussing a few minutes earlier. became very clear there was some eavesdropping going on.
rockstar is such a small indie company, how could they even afford to fix bugs…
i just set up virtualbox so i could install windows on it and use some simulation programs i need for school projects. what an unbelievable fight it was. first i can’t download the .iso file because their website blocks me. fortunately i found an old w10 iso file on my external. got pissed when i realized i need to use edge to download firefox. takes like 2 hours to get everything adjusted the way i like and all crap out of my way. get MAS, damn thing killed windows boot somehow. start all over again. same thing again, only then i realized it was the activation that kills it. guess i have to use light mode. oh and setting up onedrive and office apps is a whole story for another day.
edit: it wasn’t MAS, it was just failed windows updates. booted up with low resolution enabled from safemode settings in repair menu…
yes, every damn website. changing server to another country may help. i noticed ireland is pretty immune to this but that server is down quite often.
everyone wants to be like apple
didn’t realize there is a pink pixel!
my fear is that openai is analyzing everything you do on the phone, not so much the chatbot. but then again i bet apple and google are already doing exactly that. all the forced AI stuff just irritates me like hell. and i live in EU area so sideloading is possible. i haven’t looked much into how much open source apps are available though.
one got confused and stopped in an intersection, then decided to perform system updates and got stuck in a bootloop. the rest are behind it.
well yeah but i have to admit, the pink color is awesome. if it didn’t have to get that damn chatgpt integration, i would ditch android. been on the edge for a while.
why would eu even care about them
i don’t use brave but i tried it once when i learned that it’s open source. google was not the default search and telemetry was off by default. also i don’t think it auto updates on linux because updates are handled by system updater.
lol what?
